Cessna Turbo 182 Skylanes are used exclusively in the program. These aircraft give us the performance needed in the mountainous areas and provide the altitude capability to climb above the icing we encounter during the winter months.
EQUIPMENT
In this rapidly changing world of avionics it is important to us that we keep up with the advances in technology as new equipment comes along. One of Field's strong beliefs is that when you are operating as a single pilot in the weather, you must have a capable 3-axis autopilot. All our planes are equipped with superb units. Additionally we have installed for safety purposes stand-by-vacuum systems and Bose noise canceling headsets for your comfort (or you can bring your own headset if you prefer).
