Instrument Certification and Primary Private Pilot Flight Training in All-Glass Cessna Aircraft Will be an Exciting and Educational Adventure!!
Morey's West Coast Adventures Founder, Field Morey, realized long ago that traditional IFR flight training is slow, frustrating, costly and unnecessarily redundant. Field's concept is to focus on the process of learning, away from the distractions of day-to-day life. Pilots can dedicate themselves to one goal: IFR mastery while having a whale of a time seeing the Western United States - a true aviation adventure to remember for a lifetime! This IFR flight training concept became the basis of Morey's West Coast Adventures more than 40 years ago..
"Never will you find another opportunity to combine a legendary instructor with the panoramic views and intensity of the Idaho backcountry. The result is a trip that will put all your skills to the test...commercial, instrument, and of course, fly fishing." – Blake Picquet, Fort Worth, TX
Morey's West Coast Adventures offers great IFR flight training adventures to Alaska, the Rocky Mountains, Idaho back-country, or California, where instrument flight students learn vital instrument flight techniques as they work towards their instrument rating in "real world" IMC weather conditions. These adventure flights can be “refresher" courses for currently rated instrument pilots. And, we've upgraded our instrument flight training fleet to include a 2008 Cessna T182T equipped with Garmin "Synthetic Vision Technology".
We are also now offering a Primary Flight Training Course to earn your Private Pilot certificate from our base at Rogue Valley International - Medford Airport (KMFR). This VFR course is taught in our well-equipped 2013 Cessna Skyhawk 172SP with Garmin G1000 glass cockpit and GFC700 autopilot.
Join over 700 pilots who have flown with instructor Field Morey throughout the Great American West as we combine glass cockpit training with beautiful scenery and pilot fellowship for a trip that will be as beneficial as it is enjoyable!
